2025 NBA All Star Players

2025 NBA All Star Players

The NBA All Star tournament has been dramatically revamped, with four teams competing in a miniature tournament. There will be three games taking place all on one night as the NBA looks to bring more competition to the All Star tournament. The first three teams will comprise 24 All Star players, eight per team. However, the fourth team will be the Rising Stars squad, which will only feature NBA players currently in their first or second season with the league. The voting is set to close tonight, but there is still plenty of potential movement before the All Star players are announced. Here are your 2025 NBA All Star Player predictions for this can’t miss tournament.

Eastern Conference- Front Court

Giannis Antetokounmpo- Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the entire NBA with nearly 3.5 million votes. His dominant play has shot Milwaukee up the standings after a very slow start. The Bucks appear poised to make another deep playoff run, and Antetokounmpo’s dominant play has been a major factor. This is hardly a 2025 NBA All Star prediction, as Antetokounmpo is all but guaranteed to take one of the starting spots.

Jayson Tatum- Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum is fresh off his championship with the Celtics last year and is a probable starter in the Eastern Conference this season, too. Tatum has made the All Star team in five consecutive seasons with consistent play on both ends of the court. His 27.4 PPG is not a career high, but his impact on the glass (9.2 rebounds) and as a facilitator (5.5 assists) cannot be ignored.

Karl-Anthony Towns- New York Knicks

Karl-Anthony Towns has been on and off the All Star team throughout his career after being selected in four of his nine seasons. He appears likely to add to that total in his first season with the Knicks. Towns has transformed the Knicks into an offensive juggernaut and given the New York faithful real hope that their championship drought could be coming to an end. His offense has never been an issue, and he has greatly improved on the defensive end since making the trip to the Big Apple.

Eastern Conference- Back Court

LaMelo Ball- Charlotte Hornets

It is rare to see an All Star appearance from an 11-29 team, but it is hard to deny LaMelo Ball deserves a spot on this list. Ball has been exceptional for the Hornets, which is a big reason they even have 11 wins this season. He is scoring 29 PPG this season and has a seemingly limitless range from behind the arc. The Hornets have been desperate for a superstar in Charlotte, and Ball’s triumphant arrival has given them optimism surrounding their future. Ball has only been an All Star once before and is a great 2025 NBA All Star prediction to double that total this year.

Donovan Mitchell- Cleveland Cavaliers

There are arguments that the Cavaliers could have far more All Stars this season, but there is no denying Mitchell’s spot amongst the elite. He has led the Cavaliers to a 36-7 record and has them perched on top of the Eastern Conference. His ability to heat up from deep has allowed Cleveland to barrage their opponents with three point shots. His 39.6% three point percentage is the best of his career, and it would be a huge surprise if he weren’t included in the 2025 NBA All Star game.

Western Conference- Front Court

Nikola Jokic- Denver Nuggets

Nikola Jokic has won three of the last four MVP awards and it is no surprise to see him at the top of the list for the 2025 NBA All Star player predictions. The Serbian superstar has carried the Denver Nuggets on his back for the last decade and is seemingly getting better with age. His 30.1 PPG is a career high, he is shooting 47.8% from behind the arc and dishing out 9.9 assists per game. The numbers Jokic is putting up are even better than his three previous MVP seasons, and there is no doubt he will be an All Star this season.

LeBron James- Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James already has 20 All Star appearances in his career and is very likely to make it 21 appearances this season. His physical dominance has slowed down as he enters his 40s, but his ability to still dictate the pace of play and dominate with his mind is second to none. James has posted 9 assists per game this season, good for fourth in the league. Once you factor in his legacy, his 23.7 PPG, and the Lakers dash up the standings, LeBron James adding to his lengthy tally of All Stars is an easy NBA prediction to make.

Victor Wembanyama- San Antonio Spurs

The towering young Frenchman in San Antonio is ready for his first All Star appearance and is likely to earn himself a spot in the starting lineup. His 4 blocks per game are on pace to be the most in more than 30 years, as Wembanyama has been a menace on both ends of the court. The second-year player has already lifted the Spurs back to relevancy and could drag San Antonio into the playoffs with a strong second half.

Western Conference- Back Court

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander- Oklahoma City Thunder

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the MVP favorite and is a lock for an All star appearance. He leads the league with 32 PPG, and has led the Thunder to a 7 game lead on top of the Western Conference. His ability to make a positive impact on both ends of the court is irreplaceable. Gilgeous-Alexander will be hoping to collect more silverware this season and can kick things off with a 2025 NBA All Star appearance.

Stephen Curry- Golden State Warriors

Steph Curry’s longevity is overshadowed by LeBron James, but the 10 time All Star has also had an illustrious career. His ability to carry an aging Warriors team into the postseason will have a massive influence on his inclusion in the All Star game. Curry is a lethal shooter from behind the arc, and is one of the most popular players in the league.
