College Football Week 2 Odds Analysis
Texas at Michigan
- Spread: Texas -7, Michigan +7
- Moneyline: Texas -350, Michigan +230
- Over/Under: 43.5 Points
- Time: Saturday, September 7th, 12 PM EST
This matchup between two ranked teams is the college football game of the week. 10th-ranked Michigan will play host to Texas and are still coming in as sizable underdogs despite their home field advantage. Michigan was able to effectively eliminate Fresno State’s run game in week 1, allowing just 9 rushing yards en route to their 30-10 victory. They had a balanced offensive showing but will need more from Davis Warren if they are to improve to 2-0. Warren had a few errant passes that would not be acceptable against Texas.

Texas is one of the favorites to win the championship on the college football odds, and this is a massive matchup that will have a large impact on the end of season rankings. Texas smashed Colorado State 52-0 in week 1 but will have a much tougher task here. It was easy for QB Quinn Ewers to spread the ball against Colorado State, and he will need to do the same in this one to get the win. Texas’s depth at receiver allows Ewers, who is good at reading plays, to find the open man. It doesn’t matter who is going up for the ball for Texas, as we saw six players haul in multiple catches last week. Texas is the deserving favorite in this one and will steamroll Michigan en route to a win and cover in front of a sour Michigan faithful.
Pick: Texas -7 (-125)
Colorado at Nebraska
- Spread: Colorado +7.5, Nebraska -7.5
- Moneyline: Colorado +205, Nebraska -300
- Over/Under: 57.5 Points
- Time: Saturday, September 7th, 7:30 PM EST
The Colorado Buffaloes always draw eyes to the college football odds, as head coach Deion Sanders does a fantastic job at selling his football program. Colorado pulled out a 31-26 victory over ND State in Week 1 after finding themselves trailing at halftime. Shedeur Sanders continues to show why he will be going to the NFL, as his 445 yards and 4 touchdowns propelled them to victory. Nebraska is a much tougher task, as Sanders will need to be perfect if he can lead his team to an upset. Nebraska may have been able to shut down the UTEP Miners in week 1, but this Colorado team is a much tougher offense to contain. The 57.5 point spread is a clear indicator that while Colorado is the underdog, the NCAAF odds still expect them to score some points. A 7.5 point spread in favor of the home team is a fair line, but the massive upside on Colorado on the college football week 2 odds is too good to pass up.
Pick: Colorado Buffaloes Moneyline +205
