Buffalo was in the top five in drops last season, and Allen was forced to get the job done himself rather than trust his receivers down the field. 2nd Round, 62nd Overall: Savion Williams (Wide Receiver, TCU)
There aren’t many premier skill position talents coming from TCU, but Savion Williams could be a rare steal for the Bills. Buffalo will not mind using one of their second round picks to get a player with the attributes of Savion Williams. He is tall, fast, and strong and has the hands needed to make contested catches in the NFL. His drops in the open field have been a concern, but his ability to make plays when his team needs it most makes this a great potential addition for the Bills.
6th Round, 206th Overall: Dominic Lovett (Wide Receiver, Georgia)
The Bills will need to be patient with this selection, but a late pick on Dominic Lovett could help turn this franchise around. Lovett is likely to be available here, and the Bills may even be able to scoop him up with a seventh round pick if they trade down. Lovett can handle big moments and is the perfect dump off man for Josh Allen. He won’t be a deep ball threat, but short completions with solid yards after the catch could turn Lovett into a crucial piece of the Bills offense.
