La Liga Predictions 2025

A highly dramatic, rivalry-filled La Liga season continues this week with exciting fixtures around the country. While FC Barcelona continues its fantastic run of games in 2025 in both La Liga and the Champions League, and looks headed toward another league crown, there’s a ton of drama below them in the table.

Cross-city rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are battling it out for second in the table, with Real Madrid’s season on the brink after a disappointing exit in Europe. With spots in both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League up for grabs, too, there’s so much action to take in before the end of the season.

Ahead of another round of fixtures, check out Sportzino’s La Liga predictions and La Liga odds.

La Liga Predictions

CD Leganes vs. Girona FC

  • Double Chance: CD Leganes or draw (-240) / CD Leganes or Girona FC (-286) / Girona FC or draw (-250)
  • Moneyline: CD Leganes (+171) / Draw (+200) / Girona FC (+166)
  • Over/Under: Over 2.5 (+120) / Under 2.5 (-167)
  • Time: Thursday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. ET

It’s a massive fixture of Leganes, as 19th in the table hosts 16th, with just five points separating the two sides. Leganes are only three points from pulling themselves out of the relegation zone, and a home match with struggling Girona is a great opportunity.

Leganes have taken two points from their previous three fixtures and have done well to earn points at home this season, with an average of 1.13 points per match. Girona, meanwhile, have lost four games in a row and have won just three matches away from home all season. Expect Leganes to earn a critical result.

Pick: CD Leganes or draw (-240)

Osasuna FC vs. Sevilla FC

  • Double Chance: Osasuna FC or draw (-313) / Osasuna FC or Sevilla FC (-267) / Sevilla FC or draw (-209)
  • Moneyline: Osasuna FC (+145) / Draw (+190) / Sevilla FC (+210)
  • Over/Under: Over 2.5 (+128) / Under 2.5 (-180)
  • Time: Thursday, April 24 at 1:00 p.m. ET

It’s a clash that is firmly mid-table, as 11th place Osasuna host 15th place Sevilla — who should be safe despite sitting just six points above the drop zone.

They have, however, been dreadful in recent weeks, with one point from their last five matches. Osasuna, for their part, have been enjoying a good run of matches, with four straight unbeaten games and back-to-back victories. Expect them to make it three straight wins.

Pick: Osasuna FC (+145)

Atletico Madrid vs. Rayo Vallecano FC

  • Double Chance: Atletico Madrid or draw (-800) / Atletico Madrid or Rayo Vallecano FC (-450) / Rayo Vallecano FC or draw (+120)
  • Moneyline: Atletico Madrid (-193) / Draw (+300) / Rayo Vallecano (+500)
  • Over/Under: Over 2.5 (-106) / Under 2.5 (-134)
  • Time: Thursday, April 24 at 3:30 p.m. ET

As Atletico continue to chase down Real Madrid and second place in the table, they host 10th place Rayo Vallecano.

Atletico have been tremendous as always at home this season, with an average of 2.31 points per home fixture. Against a struggling Rayo Vallecano side that has lost two of their last three matches and averages just 1.25 points per game on their travels, Atletico should retake all three points.

Pick: Atletico Madrid (-193)

Real Betis vs. Real Valladolid FC

  • Double Chance: Real Betis or draw (-2,000) / Real Betis or Real Valladolid FC (-1,200) / Real Valladolid FC or draw (+250)
  • Moneyline: Real Betis (-550) / Draw (+533) / Real Valladolid FC (+1,200)
  • Over/Under: Over 3.5 (+110) / Under 3.5 (-150)
  • Time: Thursday, April 24 at 3:30 p.m. ET

As Real Betis continues their push for Europe next season, they are given a gift in the form of a meeting with 20th place Real Valladolid. Of their last 13 matches, Real Valladolid have earned just one single point — at the end of February.

Betis averages 1.4 goals per game, and 1.56 at home, and are looking at a great chance to boost their goal difference further. Real Valladolid are conceding an average of 3.0 goals per game away from home this season, and I expect Betis to hammer them. In a lopsided match, the Over on a 3.5 goal total is worthwhile.

Pick: Over 3.5 (+110)

Villarreal CF vs. RCD Espanyol

  • Double Chance: Villarreal CF or draw (-900) / Villarreal CF or RCD Espanyol (-587) / RCD Espanyol or draw (+142)
  • Moneyline: Villarreal CF (-234) / Draw (+350) / RCD Espanyol (+500)
  • Over/Under: Over 2.5 (-143) / Under 2.5 (+105)
  • Time: Sunday, April 27 at 10:15 a.m. ET

While Betis has a great chance to bolster their top-five pursuit, Villareal has to do their part to keep Betis at bay. To do so, they have to face an Espanyol side in good form.

Espanyol are unbeaten in their last five matches, with three wins during that span, and will see a wobbling Villareal side. Since the calendar turned to March, Villareal have taken just eight of a possible 18 points. In a tricky home fixture, expect Villareal and Espanyol to split the points.

Pick: Draw (+350)
