Texas is still a perfect 5-0 on the season and holds a victory over 24th ranked Michigan. Quarterback Arch Manning has been nearly perfect, throwing for 9 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and a 70.5% completion percentage. However, despite his strong play, he is expected to move to the bench as Quinn Ewers returns from his injury. Ewers is on a different level than Manning, throwing 45 touchdowns compared to just 14 interceptions in his three-year career. He makes up for his lack of mobility with laser-like precision and will give the Oklahoma defense real problems on Saturday afternoon.
Oklahoma is more than a two touchdown underdog despite their strong play this year. Their only loss of the season was against Tennessee, but that was only by 10 points. Otherwise, they have been able to gut out tight victories, leaning on their defense to shut teams down in the fourth quarter.
