The Best 5 Expert NFL Week 6 Predictions

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Chicago Bears

Sunday, October 13th, 9:30 AM EST

  • Moneyline: Jaguars +110, Bears -140
  • Spread: Chicago Bears (-2.5)
  • Total: 44.5 Points

The Jacksonville Jaguars have played at least one game in Europe every year since 2013, so while they won’t technically have home field advantage, they will have a clear edge over the Bears. Chicago has done well in competing with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams under center, but they are in over their heads against a desperate Jaguars team. Jacksonville cannot afford to drop this game if they hope to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has shown signs of life in recent weeks, and the Jaguars will be able to pull off the outright upset as short underdogs.

Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars Moneyline +110

Houston Texans at New England Patriots

Sunday, October 13th, 1:00 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Texans -325, Patriots +240
  • Spread: Houston Texans (-6.5)
  • Total: 37.5 Points

Houston is leagues above New England at this stage of the season, and this will be a massive blowout for the road team. Quarterback CJ Stroud will be effective against a solid Patriots defense, but the same can’t be said for Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett. New England has struggled to move the football all season long, and once they fall behind early, there will be no coming back.

Pick: Houston Texans (-6.5) -110

Cleveland Browns at Philadelphia Eagles

Sunday, October 13th, 1:00 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Browns +325, Eagles -475
  • Spread: Philadelphia Eagles (-8.5)
  • Total: 43.5 Points

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson may be the worst quarterback of this decade. His massive contract is the only reason he is still starting in the NFL, and he has been due for a bounceback game all season long. He is unlikely to find sustained success again this season but may have a brief window of joy against the Eagles. Philadelphia has had quarterback problems of their own, and their 8.5 point spread this week cannot be justified. The Browns are unlikely to pull off the upset, but they can cover the spread against Philadelphia this week.

Pick: Cleveland Browns (+8.5) -110

Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders

Sunday, October 13th, 4:25 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Steelers -160, Raiders +125
  • Spread: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)
  • Total: 37 Points

These two defensive teams will tightly contest each other, and it’s hard to see either of them putting up a lot of points. The Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league, and they have helped their underperforming offense to a 3-2 record this season. On the other hand, the Raiders have been less effective offensively but still have a strong defense to rely on in this week 6 matchup. The 37-point total is low, but even if neither of these teams scores 20+ points, it still won’t be surpassed.

Pick: Steelers vs Raiders Under 37 -110

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers

Sunday, October 13th, 4:25 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Falcons -280, Panthers +210
  • Spread: Atlanta Falcons (-6)
  • Total: 47.5 Points

The Carolina Panthers picked up some momentum when they started Andy Dalton as quarterback, but that has quickly faded into the abyss. The Panthers are just as bad as they were last year, and the Falcons will tear them to shreds on Sunday. Atlanta has legitimate Super Bowl hopes, and running back Bijan Robinson will have a field day against a weak Panthers defense.

Pick: Atlanta Falcons (-6) -115

NFL Week 6 Predictions and Picks

NFL Player Prop Predictions: San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks

Thursday, October 10th, 8:15 PM EST

  • Moneyline: 49ers -180, Seahawks +140
  • Spread: San Francisco 49ers (-3.5)
  • Total: 47.5 Points

Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III has returned from injury with a real point to prove. His reintroduction into the Seahawks offense has elevated them even further, and it’s surprising to see him only -125 to score a touchdown. He’s scored four touchdowns in three games this season, and the 49ers defense is nowhere near as dominant as they once were.

Pick: Kenneth Walker III Touchdown -125

NFL Score Predictions: Buffalo Bills at New York Jets

Monday, October 14th, 8:15 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Bills -145, Jets +115
  • Spread: Buffalo Bills (-2.5)
  • Total: 41.5 Points

These two AFC East rivals are the final NFL week 6 matchup, squaring off on Monday Night Football. The Jets defense was expected to be strong this season, but they have consistently fallen short. Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a terrible game against the Texans last week and will rebound nicely here. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has also been subpar this season, and this is an excellent opportunity to capitalize on their slow starts. The total touchdown line is at just 4.5 touchdowns, making the Over a strong play in this contest.

Pick: Jets vs Bills Over 4.5 Touchdowns +105

NFL Moneyline Picks and Predictions: LA Chargers at Denver Broncos

Sunday, October 13th, 4:05 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Chargers -105, Broncos +125
  • Spread: Los Angeles Chargers (-3)
  • Total: 35.5 Points

This is expected to be the lowest scoring game of the week, but there is a better NFL week 6 prediction to make on the spread. The Denver Broncos have rattled off three consecutive victories and have shown no signs of slowing down. Across the field, the Chargers look as lost as ever, as these two franchises are heading in opposite directions. Despite this, the Chargers are road favorites against the Broncos. Denver will not only cover the three point spread but will beat the Chargers outright.

Pick: Denver Broncos Moneyline +125

NFL Against The Spread Predictions: Cincinnati Bengals at New York Giants

Sunday, October 13th, 8:20 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Bengals -180, Giants +140
  • Spread: Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5)
  • Total: 49 Points

Neither of these teams has a good defense, and the Bengals’ offense will give them the victory on Sunday Night. Joe Burrow has led the Bengals to 33, 34, and 38 points in the last three games. Will Giants quarterback Daniel Jones be able to match that production? Absolutely not.

Pick: Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) -105
