NFL Week 4 Predictions and Picks

Game 1: Minnesota Vikings vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday, September 28th, 9:30 AM EST

  • Moneyline: Vikings -160, Steelers +115
  • Spread: Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)
  • Total: 41.5 Points

The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a defensive performance of a lifetime against the Bengals last week. The Steelers possess a more threatening offense to contain, but Minnesota will still be able to pull out the victory.

The reality is that the Steelers’ defense is no longer the elite unit it once was, and the wins will be tougher to secure as a result. Carson Wentz is not the most consistent quarterback in the pocket, but a ruthless Vikings defense will make up for any of his mistakes. The spread isn’t a bad NFL prediction to make, but we will keep it simple with the moneyline at -160 NFL odds.

Pick: Minnesota Vikings Moneyline -160

Game 2: New Orleans Saints at Buffalo Bills

Sunday, September 28th, 1:00 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Saints +625, Bills -1600
  • Spread: Buffalo Bills (-16.5)
  • Total: 48.5 Points

This is the biggest mismatch of the week, but this total is far too low for a game that will feature a boatload of points. Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense will be responsible for most of the scoring, but the Saints will be able to chip in with a touchdown or two as well. Spencer Rattler and the Saints offense have been improving slightly, while the Saints defense is a complete joke.

Buffalo has already shown they can put up 30+ points in a flash, and will likely eclipse the 40-point mark for the second time this season in this matchup. As long as the Saints continue to play aggressive football on offense, this game will see 50+ points midway through the fourth quarter.

Pick: Saints vs Bills Over 48.5 Points -115

Game 3: Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sunday, September 28th, 1:00 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Eagles -210, Buccaneers +150
  • Spread: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
  • Total: 44.5 Points

Tampa Bay has beaten the Eagles in five of their last six meetings, as they are one of the few NFL teams capable of matching their physicality. The Buccaneers will happily play tough football in the trenches with the Eagles, and this will be a gritty, good old-fashioned football game.

Baker Mayfield will not be intimidated in this matchup, and this is one that will certainly go down to the final possession. Considering nearly 20% of NFL games finish with a winning margin of exactly 3 points, this is a crucial point spread to scoop up with the Buccaneers. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Tampa Bay win this one outright, but we will take the points as a little insurance instead of the moneyline.

Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5) -120

NFL Player Prop Predictions: Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals

Thursday, September 25th, 8:15 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Seahawks -125, Cardinals -110
  • Spread: Seattle Seahawks (-1.5)
  • Total: 43.5 Points

Cooper Kupp has settled into his new role in Seattle nicely, and he will find the endzone in Arizona. Kupp has the physicality needed to win one-on-one battles in the red zone, and the Cardinals don’t have the secondary needed to cover someone with his physical attributes.

With all the attention on Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Kupp is a great Week 4 NFL prediction at +325 NFL odds.

Pick: Cooper Kupp to score a touchdown +325

NFL Score Predictions: Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs

Sunday, September 28th, 4:25 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Ravens -160, Chiefs +115
  • Spread: Baltimore Ravens (-2.5)
  • Total: 48.5 Points

This is a matchup between two of the best teams in the AFC, but there will be little to separate the two sides. Two conservative offenses against strong defensive units will find it difficult to string together explosive plays. When these teams do find the endzone, it will be through a short pass or on the ground.

Taking the under on this line for the longest touchdown is a great NFL prediction for this incredible week 4 matchup.

Pick: Longest Touchdown Under 39.5 Yards -125

NFL Moneyline Predictions: Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots

Sunday, September 28th, 1:00 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Panthers +180, Patriots -260
  • Spread: New England Patriots (-5.5)
  • Total: 42.5 Points

Carolina just beat the Falcons 30-0 last week, while the Patriots lost to the Steelers. Neither of these teams will be making the playoffs, and the +180 NFL odds on a Panthers victory are too good to pass up.

Carolina has the defensive talent needed to slow down Drake Maye, and Bryce Young looks better every time he steps on the field.

Pick: Carolina Panthers Moneyline +180

NFL Against the Spread Predictions: Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams

Sunday, September 28th, 1:00 PM EST

  • Moneyline: Colts +140, Rams -200
  • Spread: Los Angeles Rams (-3.5)
  • Total: 49.5 Points

Daniel Jones continues to roll in Indianapolis, and there is no reason to fade the Colts at NFL odds like these. This is a crucial number for against the spread NFL predictions, and the Rams showed that they can’t close out games last week.

This will be the first tough test for the Colts defense this season, but one they can pass with flying colors.

Pick: Indianapolis Colts (+3.5) -125
