College Football Week 9 Odds Analysis
(No. 15) Missouri at (No. 10) Vanderbilt
- Spread: Vanderbilt -2.5 (-140)
- Moneyline: Missouri +125/Vanderbilt -180
- Over/Under: 52.5 (-120)
- Time: Saturday, October 25 at 3:30 p.m. ET
With a slim spread to cover a week ago, Vanderbilt welcomed the LSU Tigers into Nashville and promptly won by a touchdown to secure bowl eligibility for the 2025 season. It was the latest mark in an astonishing Commodores’ rise, but don’t think the perennial SEC bottom-feeder is done.
With the Missouri Tigers coming in this week, Vandy has yet again been given a slight, 2.5-point line to cover. Compared to the pressure of last week’s matchup, the clash with Mizzou is considerably more straightforward. Don’t expect Vanderbilt to flinch now.
Pick: Vanderbilt -2.5 (-140)
(NR) Stanford at (No. 9) Miami
- Spread: Miami -30.5 (-120)
- Moneyline: Stanford +900/Miami OTB
- Over/Under: 48.5 (-115)
- Time: Saturday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. ET
Last weekend was an absolute disaster for the Miami Hurricanes, who were upset by an unranked Louisville Cardinals team, saw quarterback Carson Beck blame teammates, and then fell from No. 2 to No. 9 in the country. It’s the type of loss that could derail a team’s season, and so the urgency in South Beach will be high.
Luckily for Beck and company, they’ve got a perfect bounce-back spot. With non-ranked Stanford coming all the way across the country to Miami, the Hurricanes are poised to take out a week of frustration on a woefully overmatched opponent. Miami has college football playoff aspirations, and it’ll put its credentials on display to put a humiliating loss behind it.
Pick: Miami -30.5 (-120)
(NR) Wisconsin at (No. 6) Oregon
- Spread: Oregon -33.5 (-130)
- Moneyline: Wisconsin +1,000/Oregon OTB
- Over/Under: 45.5 (-115)
- Time: Saturday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. ET
Not only did Wisconsin fail to cover receiving a massive sum of points last week against No. 1 Ohio State—at home—but it lost in such brutal fashion that Camp Randall Stadium turned toxic, and so did the mood around the program.
Now, the Badgers have to head up to Eugene to face No. 6 Oregon and are again getting a swath of points. But, after they failed to muster any offense in a shutout last weekend, the season is about to really get away from them. The Ducks, like the Buckeyes a week ago, should steamroll a Wisconsin team that is completely lost at this point in the season.
Pick: Oregon -33.5 (-130)

What is the Best Game this week?
There are a few candidates for the best game of the week, but our NCAAF prediction to get that title has to go to the classic college football rivalry between No. 25 Michigan and unranked Michigan State.
